"If you get a room with a view of the water, you can't beat" this "family-friendly" spot "close to all the attractions and nightlife" and perfectly set for "a stroll along the water"; "renovated rooms" are "spacious and well appointed", some with "awesome views of the harbor" or "the beautiful Norfolk skyline"; the staff is "kind and helpful", and the only sour note is the "very high parking fees"; N.B. all rooms and some public areas underwent a refurbishment in 2007.

This hotel did not have wireless internet in the rooms. Wired cable in the room was $9.95/day. If you wanted to park in the hotel lot overnight the fee was $22. I have stayed in many less expensive hotels that have many more free amenities. This hotel is not worth the price. ...read more

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, just be aware of the $22/night parking charge or the parking garage a short block away at $13/night.
